The Shimano Deore crankset FC-M5100-1 are cranks with only one chainring, which was designed for 10-speed and 11-speed drivetrains. The chainring is not mounted directly but via a 4-arm spider. You can choose between 30 and 32 tooth. Thanks to the 2-piece construction, a balanced ratio of stiffness to weight is ensured.
