Learning to ride a bike is a rite of passage for all of us, and a light bike just makes the process a little easier. The Numove 140’s specially designed frame and fork is built with low weight in mind, and matched with components – like the CUBE stem and German-made Thun bottom bracket – that are also light and durable. Light wheels are shod with narrow tyres, and we fitted V-brakes front and rear – with levers, handlebars and grips matched to small hands – for their simplicity and ease of use. We haven’t forgotten safety, of course, which is why edges are all rounded and the chain is entirely enclosed. And, although it’s light, it’s also built to be child-tough, so it’ll easily stand up to some spirited play as your child’s confidence grows.
ALUMINIU LITE
There’s aluminium, and then there’s CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE.
