The SM-CRM86 chainrings not only form a visual unit with the Deore XT cranks, they are also at the highest technical level. The partially closed design ensures unprecedented stiffness at the point of maximum power input and therefore unbridled propulsion. Nevertheless, the high-quality aluminum has kept the weight low and improved durability.
Particular attention was paid to the shape of the individual teeth. With their special Dynamic-Chain-Engagement+ design, they guide the chain safely and very quietly even on rough trails and minimize wear. The chainrings are fastened with a lockring, which has the Shimano bottom bracket tool holder, making any maintenance work quick and easy.
